This is a very easy to implement method to setup a long term passive income. Now for those of you out there who don’t know what passive income is its a form of repeating income, where you earn a residual income from work you only did once. The advantages of Passive Income is that once you have done the work, so after you have set it up, you get paid for doing nothing, now there’s nothing better than getting paid for nothing is there?

Now many of you won’t know what a widget is, well its like a little gadget that is pre-programmed and ready for a website owner or internet user to add to their homepage or website. There are many different places that widgets can be used, the most popular web widgets are for Blogger, Typepad, Wordpress, iGoogle, Netvibes and Ning. However with the latest version of Windows Vista you can get gadgets on the desktop and in Mac OS X you can also install dashboard widgets.

Imagine you had one thousand people who had installed your widget and used it everyday, which is a very easy task if you consider all the different forms it can take, as a Windows Vista Gadget, a Mac OS X dashboard widget, not to mention all of the web based forms. Now what would the best way to monetize a widget? Well with adverts of course, but it is very difficult to come up with a great idea for a widget and even more difficult to code it. Now it is easy to get a thousand installs but getting 100,000 would be very very difficult. So this gives us a problem, we want to be able to create unique widgets quickly, easily and they must be easy to monetize.

Google Custom Search Engines

This is where Google Custom Search Comes in… now this is a part of the Google Adsense Program, it allows you to build your own custom search engine, just like Google, but you can choose how you want the search engine to function and best of all you can put your own Adsense adverts on the results pages! Now here’s the clever part, since with Custom Search Engines you can easily change what results come up, so you can easily create niche search engines in minutes. So you can just create hundreds of niche search engines, and then promote them everywhere.

Now On average it takes me about 5 minutes to modify the search engine for a niche, then get the code, then it takes me another 5 minutes to create an iGoogle Gadget, then from there I can automatically make a Blogger, Typepad, Wordpress, Netvibes and Ning widgets. I can also create the Windows Vista and Mac OS X in that time. So in 10 minutes I can create a niche search engine widget, ready for distribution and promotion. So If you spent 2 hours you could create 12 widgets, now if on average you get 1000 users per widget, and I you can get a $7 to a $15 CPM now if you created 12 that got you 1000 users that used it once per day, that would be $120 Per Day Passive Income! From 2 hours work!

As you can see this is a very powerful and easy method! All you need to do is create your widgets. Now most of you out there probably have no experience with widgets and little coding experience if any! So what I have below for Free Members the script for an Google Custom Search Engine iGoogle Widget, all you need to do is replace the search code with your own one, and then I will show you how you can then automatically create Blogger, Typepad, Wordpress, Netvibes and Ning widgets.
