Incentive Hosting Promotion

This is a very simple method that I used a few years back to make some quick cash. It was only recently that it was brought up so I thought that I would try it again for a day to make sure it is still working and to see if beginners will actually do it and what they will need to do it.

In short the method is convincing webmaster newbies to signup for a webhosting through your referral link. You will offer your services or item(s) in return that the person will sign up for the hosting.

Like I said before I did this a few years back and it worked a charm for some quick cash. I recommend everyone uses CJ for this. There are other networks and private networks with good offers but CJs reputation is unmatched and they always pay on time. There are a number of hosting offers you can get someone signed up with on CJ but the one I always use is HostGator. I personally dislike their hosting as I hate all over sellers and hosts that say they will give you all this space and bandwidth and as soon as you use 1% they cut you off. But they are easy to promote. I highly advise getting them to prepay for a minimum 2 months as this is the conversion time for CJ.

If you are really slack like myself you should try to aim for 1-2 conversions a day. If you are doing this with Hostgator then 100-200 bucks every day is really achievable. Sure you will have your bad days where you won’t have any conversions…. but you will also have your kick ass days where you will get every beginner you see.

I did this method for 3 days doing a couple hours each day. This isn’t at once… probably 15 minutes each little session. It can be quite boring having to do the same thing over and over again, but its just a couple hours a day. On my first day I converted 2 beginners. On my second day I got just the one conversion but on the third day I had 4 conversions.

This method will make you more and more money the more you do it. This is a very skill based method but does not require much time. I mean you could spend a couple hours on a Monday sifting through user names on a forum and then messaging a heap of them each day and just do this cycle every week.

Please remember that this may be considered incentive which would be Blackhat for many hosting affiliate offers. Please make sure you do not post publicly that this is what you are doing and avoid actually saying sign up here to get this. Make it so it sounds more like…. I will give you some free scripts to use with your web hosting, use this webhost for an easy setup. This does not sound so much like incentive stuff and you should be able to weezle your way out of it if for some reason you get caught…
